Outbreach Ltd. seeks a Crisis Communications Manager to deliver communications support to organisations during cyber incidents.

You will be the second practitioner in a function that currently rests on one person, working directly with the incident response team to ensure communications are live alongside containment. Formación

• Proven crisis or issues communications experience across in-house, in an agency, or in a consultancy setting.
• Ability to write quickly and clearly, and to get sign-off from anxious stakeholders without losing the message.
• Strong cyber literacy to interpret forensic timelines and ask precise questions.
• Sound judgment on messaging—what to say, what not to say, and when saying nothing is appropriate.
• Resilience to work at speed, often out of hours, on high-pressure weeks.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver crisis communications on live cyber incidents, including holding statements, stakeholder updates and media handling.
• Translate technical findings into language a board, a customer, or a journalist can use.
• Ensure communications align with incident containment and notification teams.
• Develop client crisis communications plans, message frameworks and templates.
• Support wording with the legal team to stay consistent with regulatory positions.
• Monitor coverage, sentiment and misinformation during incidents, advising on response strategy.
• Run client tabletop exercises and media training as part of readiness engagements.
• Manage internal communications for clients during incidents.
• Lead post-incident reviews and feed lessons back into playbooks.
