Job summary

CFC in London is seeking a Cyber Incident Manager to coordinate cyber incidents from initial notification through resolution. The role focuses on project coordination, stakeholder management, communication, organization and decision-making rather than hands-on security work.

You will be the central point of coordination during incidents, ensuring the right people are engaged, actions progress, stakeholders are informed, and clients receive a strong service during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Managing cyber incidents from triage through to resolution.
• Acting as the primary point of contact for clients during an incident.
• Coordinating technical specialists, investigators and support teams.
• Leading incident calls and stakeholder meetings.
• Managing action plans, timelines, priorities and deliverables.
• Providing regular updates to clients, insurers, legal counsel and internal stakeholders.
• Translating technical information into business-focused communication.
• Working with executives to support decision making.
• Maintaining incident records, reports and documentation.
• Supporting lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
