Marsh in Norwich is seeking a talented Cyber Broker to join our Cyber, Media & Technology Practice. We are seeking a talented individual to join our Cyber, Media & Technology Practice at Marsh. This role will be based in Norwich. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

The Cyber Broker will work within a highly skilled team that specialises in managing a portfolio of existing and new business accounts.

You can expect excellent opportunities to utilise Client and Market facing experience within a busy and friendly team at an exciting time of growth, collaborative teamwork on an enviable book of your own clients, typically mid-sized UK or Worldwide headquartered businesses, across various sectors, requiring more technical input or open market broking.

This is an advisory role to colleagues across the Marsh business, offering support and guidance on their placement of policies and an opportunity to further your personal and professional career aspirations within a global broker

We focus on developing our talent, whether that is through technical courses or training for leadership positions. We have a strong “grow-our-own” policy with proven results.

We will count on you to:

• Manage a book of your own Cyber clients, working directly with the client and/or in collaboration with Marsh colleagues across the UK and globally managing the wider relationship and other lines of insurance

• Work closely with Marsh colleagues to provide oversight, guidance and support

• Understand the clients’ business strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs and provide advice accordingly to successfully serve clients

• Advise clients on coverage queries and executing mid-term programme amendments

• Work with the team to seek growth opportunities and subsequently win new business

• Assist in presentations to existing and prospective clients and suggest innovative solutions

What you need to have:

• Excellent communication skills – both written (tenders, reports, presentations) and verbal (client meetings, colleague meetings and delivery of tenders and presentations)

• Proven organisation abilities and ability to multi-task

• Diligence, accuracy and ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure

• A problem solving mentality – clients will occasionally present a challenge to us at the 11th hour and our team must always find a way to address it

• Pride in maintaining the highest professional standards and appetite to challenge the status quo to ensure we deliver best possible outcomes for our clients
