Job summary

A&O IT Group in Bracknell/Maidenhead area is seeking a Security Consultant to develop strategic security assessments for client environments, including vulnerability analysis, penetration testing and red team engagements. Hybrid role with 3 days in the office; initial location Bracknell, moving to Maidenhead later this year.

You will collaborate with Corsaire security team and clients to implement mitigations and produce technical reports, while communicating complex issues to business and tech

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience in a similar role.
• Has worked in a client-facing consultative environment (either with internal or external customers).
• Strong project management and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage your workload.
• Knowledge of security assessment and audit tools, techniques and methodologies.
• Good knowledge of network protocols and services.
• Working knowledge of Windows and POSIX-based operating systems.
• Programming or scripting experience.
• Familiarity with standard Office.
• Understanding of cryptographic concepts and technologies.
• Able to absorb complex technical information and communicate effectively to different levels of technical and business audiences.
• Strong written English required for client communications and technical reporting.
• Able to gain SC or DV (Security Clearance) if required.
