Job summary
Cromwell is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to blend engineering know-how with a commercial mindset, helping customers choose cutting tools and solutions for manufacturing challenges. You’ll work with customers to understand operations, identify opportunities and deliver technical value that improves performance.
In this role you’ll support existing and prospective customers with product recommendations, demonstrations, trials and technical advice, travelling within your territory to build
Qualifications
- Strong engineering background with knowledge of HSS, solid carbide and indexable carbide cutting tools.
- Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, manufacturing or similar customer-facing engineering environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to build credible relationships.
- Commercial focus with drive to identify opportunities and contribute to sales growth.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and application support to customers, recommending cutting tools and solutions.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities and grow cutting tool sales in the territory.
- Build relationships with existing customers and become a trusted technical partner.
- Deliver product demonstrations, trials and technical presentations.
- Collaborate with Sales and technical specialists to develop opportunities and deliver effective solutions.
- Analyze customer requirements and sales trends to identify growth opportunities.
