Key Responsibilities:
  1. Support the Customs & Excise Technical Standards Manager to establish and maintain a robust framework of indirect tax standards, guidelines, policies, controls, and procedures to ensure customs and excise compliance across the Group.
  2. Deliver training to stakeholders across impacted functions, including maintaining and improving existing training programs, performing market training needs analyses, updating training materials, scheduling, and managing trainee queries.
  3. Maintain a SharePoint site with accessible training materials for the global group.
  4. Provide expert input on customs and excise into technical materials, controls, policies, and procedures prepared by other functions.
  5. Manage a framework of regular compliance attestations for processes sensitive to customs and excise.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent ability to analyze technical materials from authorities, courts, and organizations.
  • Ability to distill technical information into clear summaries and instructions for various audiences.
  • Minimum of three years' experience in 'big 4' accounting firms, multinational organizations, or relevant regulators.
  • Basic knowledge of customs and excise technical and accounting principles.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain environments.
  • Knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems.
