Job summary

Travail Employment Group in Worksop is seeking a customer service team leader to support a busy UK-EU customs operation. You will lead a small team, ensure declarations are completed accurately and on time, and help customers navigate the customs process.

The role offers full training, a 4on/4off shift pattern (09:30–20:00) and a starting salary of around £30,000, with benefits including 28 days holiday and a pension. An opportunity to build a long-term career in a 24/7 global service operation.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a customer service team.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced operation.
• Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
• Willingness to learn customs procedures; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team to deliver daily customs-related customer service activities.
• Ensure declarations and admin are completed accurately within timescales.
• Respond to customer queries via email, portals and internal systems.
• Maintain compliance with customs procedures and current legislation.
• Monitor team performance, quality and service standards.
• Plan staffing across shifts and escalate issues early.
• Coach and develop team members to improve performance.
• Promote a positive customer-centric working culture.
• Oversee end-to-end flow so goods move without delay.
