Aldi is seeking a Customs Assistant to support the supply chain by managing customs declarations, maintaining master data, and driving improvements to service levels and costs. You will work with customs agents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure compliant, efficient movement of goods.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and oversee customs declarations, directly or via third-party agents.
• Ensure entries are accurate and compliant with legislation and business requirements.
• Own and maintain customs master data for accuracy and operational use.
• Monitor performance and resolve issues impacting availability or service levels.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal departments to gather and validate data.
• Lead investigations into customs issues, identifying root causes and solutions.
• Support compliance with governance, controls, and documentation standards.
• Identify cost-reduction opportunities through process improvements and schemes.
• Review processes to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
• Build strong relationships with customs agents, logistics providers, and stakeholders.
• Analyse and present customs data to drive decisions and improvements.
• Assist implementation of regulatory changes.
