Job summary

WR Logistics in Southampton is seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator to manage customs entries from receipt of documentation through to completion. You will ensure declarations are accurate, compliant and processed within agreed timescales.

You’ll handle a portfolio of clients, provide practical advice on customs queries, and build trusted relationships to ensure their requirements are handled professionally and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Experience in customs clearance, freight forwarding or international trade.
• Solid understanding of customs procedures and HMRC legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review documentation for customs purposes and ensure information is complete.
• Submit customs entries using Descartes E-Customs, ensuring compliance with HMRC rules.
• Meet two-hour turnaround for EU traffic from receipt of documentation.
• Maintain audit trail within Leda for client records.
