Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is helping a fast-growing Ballymena logistics provider recruit a Customs Clearance Coordinator (Import / Export). The office-based role offers £28,000 - £38,000 plus progression, training and company benefits, with Monday to Friday work.

You will manage the full customs process for imports and exports across GB, NI and IE, prepare declarations, liaise with customers and suppliers, and work in a clearance team of six. Full training will be provided.

• Experience in road freight or ocean freight.
• Commutable to Ballymena.

Are you a Customs Clearance Coordinator from a road or sea freight background looking to join a fast-growing logistics company where you'll play a key role, receive training to develop your skills, and have clear opportunities to progress?

With over 40 years of experience, this customs clearance provider manages imports and exports across the UK, Ireland, and Europe. Serving industries from FMCG to healthcare, they handle everything from declarations and CHEDs to compliance checks, ensuring goods move smoothly across borders

In this role, you'll manage the full customs process, from handling customer enquiries and updating the TMS to preparing import/export declarations for goods across Great Britain, Northern Ireland, and the Republic of Ireland. You'll ensure documents are accurate and complete supplementary declarations. Based in Ballymena, this role operates on weekly rotating shifts: one week 07:00-16:00, followed by one week 09:00-18:00, Monday to Friday.

This role would suit someone from a road or sea freight background who wants to play a key part in a growing logistics company, managing declarations, documentation, and clearances to ensure operations run smoothly, with ongoing training and clear career progression.
