Job summary

Spherea Test & Services Ltd is seeking a practical Customer Support Technician to be embedded at a major customer site near Cheltenham. You will provide first-line technical support for test systems, undertake hands-on electrical and mechanical work, and act as the liaison between the customer and Averna's engineering team.

You will develop deep knowledge of the customer's equipment, identify opportunities to improve reliability, and work with account managers to deliver practical engineering

Qualifications

Foundation in electrical/electronic engineering with practical experience.
Experience fault-finding on electrical/electronic systems.
Ability to read electrical schematics and documentation.

Responsibilities

Act as primary day-to-day representative at the customer site and build relationships with teams.
Provide first-line support for test systems and equipment from Averna and others.
Investigate faults and determine appropriate action; escalate when needed.
Diagnose faults to module or component level using standard test equipment.
Collaborate with Averna engineering specialists to resolve complex issues.
