Job Description

Our client, a manufacturer producing both single and double deck battery and fuel cell electric buses, is currently looking for a Customer Technical Trainer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialised advice and training to customers and service team members, focusing on delivering excellent customer support and service.

The Customer Technical Trainer will:

  1. Identify and train customer employees to ensure high-quality knowledge transfer and retention of the solution.
  2. Implement assessment criteria and evaluation methods to ensure learning outcomes are achieved.
  3. Collaborate with other organisations and recognised bodies to enhance training standards.
  4. Develop and deliver training programmes and videos to meet customer objectives efficiently and to standard.
  5. Implement Learning and Development strategies tailored to customer needs.

Work alongside the Training team and customer’s business area to develop training plans and deliver appropriate programmes in a timely manner.

The Customer Technical Trainer will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a training management role or at least 5 years’ experience in a training role.
  • Experience and knowledge in delivering training in disciplines such as HGV/PSV Driveline installations, PSV Body Construction, HGV/PSV electrical systems, and Heating Systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
