Job summary

Vitacress Herbs seeks a Customer Technical Manager (12 months maternity cover) to be the main technical contact for customers. Hybrid role with travel to customer sites, ensuring food safety and quality while driving continuous improvement.

The role requires HACCP and BRCGS knowledge, a food-related degree, and strong stakeholder management across departments to support product launches and audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a food industry technical management role with customer-facing relationships.
• Knowledge of BRCGS Standards, food legislation, HACCP principles.
• Experience hosting customer and BRC audits.
• Degree in a food-related discipline with HACCP and Food Hygiene qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical contact for key customers, managing audits, visits, complaints, product launches, and reviews.
• Lead customer complaint investigations with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Create and deliver customer technical improvement plans across site.
• Manage communications on incidents, recalls, and non-routine issues.
• Generate KPI reports, complaint trends, and CI updates.
• Support new product launches, specs, supplier approvals, and benchmarking.
