Job summary

Potts Partnership in Swindon is seeking a Technical Manager (Maternity Cover) to lead the technical and quality agenda for product development and production on site. You will report to the Factory Manager and oversee QA activities to ensure safety, quality and legal compliance.

Responsibilities include leading the HACCP team, supplier and raw material approvals, audits, and ensuring codes of practice across NPD, Supply Chain and Operations. Fixed 12-month contract commencing in November.

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA teams and audits.
• Familiar with BRCGS, HACCP, and QMS.
• Experience with regulatory compliance in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical and QA activities within the factory.
• Oversee HACCP team and monthly meetings.
• Manage supplier review and approval processes.
• Ensure product safety, quality and legal compliance.
• Coordinate audits and close non-conformances with the food safety consultant.
• Maintain SEDEX accreditation and ensure export compliance.
