Job summary

You will lead site audits (BRCGS and major customers), manage QMS, HACCP and TACCP, and drive root cause analysis for internal issues, with a focus on training to embed a strong Food Safety Culture. 40 hours a week with some remote work after six months.

Qualifications

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Microbiology, or a related discipline.
• Level 4 HACCP and Level 4 Food Safety in Manufacturing desirable.
• 3-5+ years in a Technical Manager or Deputy Technical Manager role in high-care or ambient food manufacturing.
• Proven track record of achieving top-grade BRCGS audits.
• Strong knowledge of UK/EU food legislation, labelling, allergen management and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, update, and improve the site's QMS, HACCP and TACCP plans.
• Lead preparation for and hosting of third‑party audits (BRCGS and customer audits).
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformances and complaints.
• Manage customer technical portal submissions, specifications and KPI reporting.
• Foster a robust Food Safety Culture through regular training and clear communication.
