Job summary

Co-op in Rothbury is hiring a Customer Team Member. You will join a friendly team in a busy store and assist with daily tasks including tills, post office duties where applicable, and stock maintenance. Training is provided and flexibility is required for varied shifts including weekends.

You will help customers find products, support with community engagement, and promote Co-op Membership, contributing to a positive shopping experience and a connected local presence.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• The ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• An interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and thoughtful service to customers and help keep shelves stocked.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Operate on the shop floor and tills, assist with post office transactions where applicable.
• Support store operations by checking prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Promote Co-op Membership and engage with the local community.
