Job summary

Co-op Group in Rochdale is seeking Customer Team Members for a part-time role (12 hours per week) with regular overtime. Training is provided, and you may work in a post office, bakery, or handling online orders for home delivery.

You will deliver friendly service, help customers, keep shelves stocked, and promote Co-op membership while supporting community initiatives. Shifts include opening, middle, and a weekend closing schedule.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environments (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service, help keep the store running smoothly.
• Work hands-on on shop floor and tills, contribute to daily operations.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and legality, monitor prices and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
