Job summary

Co-op is hiring a Customer Team Member in a local store in Luton. You’ll join a friendly team, delivering essential customer service and helping run the shop floor, post office or bakery as needed. Paid training provided and a permanent part-time contract with regular overtime.

You’ll work a mix of opening, middle and closing shifts, with weekend work and some early starts. Staff benefits include store discounts and pension support.

Qualifications

• Must be aged 18 or over to apply.
• Willing to work across a mix of opening, middle and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service to customers.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle till operations and shop floor tasks to ensure a great shopping experience.
• Maintain shelves, check prices and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety and compliance with prices, dates and temperatures.
