Job summary

Co-op is seeking a Customer Team Member to join our Belfast store. You’ll help keep shelves stocked, assist customers, and work across opening, middle, and closing shifts, with at least one weekend shift. Full training is provided, and the role supports the community through local initiatives.

This is a part-time, permanent contract with 20 hours per week plus overtime. You’ll be part of a friendly team on the shop floor, in a post office or bakery depending on the store, and you’ll help deliver

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and friendly service is essential.
• Able to work across multiple shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and busy store environment; experience not essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, thoughtful service and help fix issues when needed.
• Work with your team to keep the store running smoothly.
• Handle shop floor duties and tills to create a great shopping experience.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Ensure store safety, legality, and correct pricing and temperatures.
• Promote Co-op Membership and support the local community.
