Job summary

Co-op Group in Monmouth is seeking a Customer Team Member to join our local store. You’ll deliver friendly service on the shop floor and tills, stock shelves, check dates and prices, and help keep the store running smoothly.

The role includes working a mix of opening, middle and closing shifts, with weekend coverage and regular overtime in a permanent part‑time contract. Full training is provided; you’ll also promote Co-op membership and support your community.

Qualifications

• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of the store with friendly service and issue resolution.
• Work with the team to keep the store running smoothly on the shop floor and tills.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices, dates and stock accuracy.
• Promote Co-op membership and assist with community engagement.
