Working pattern:

Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends, to be discussed at interview. Full, paid training provided. You can apply for this role using your mobile device (no CV needed!).

You must be aged 18 or over to be a customer team member at Co-op, as it requires working before 6am or after 10pm.

We’re looking for Customer Team Members to join our team at Co-op.

As a Customer Team Member, you’ll be part of a friendly team dedicated to helping our customers. We’ll look to you to provide them with great service on the tills and the shop floor, while also performing a wide range of tasks around the store like re-stocking shelves and cleaning spillages. What you'll do
  1. Provide friendly and thoughtful service – respond to queries, champion Co-op products and Membership, support with tasks on the post office counter, and deliver a great shopping experience.
  2. Work together to make everyone's day better – support your store colleagues in solving problems for customers and members.
  3. Ensure the store is safe and legal – keep shelves stocked, and ensure prices, dates, and temperatures are correct.
  4. Help introduce new products and services – make changes feel natural and share experiences with colleagues to promote learning.
  5. Support your local community – participate in activities and events.
