Job summary

Co-op Group is seeking enthusiastic Customer Team Members for our local Co-op store in the community. You will help deliver friendly, helpful service across a fast-moving store environment, with a focus on keeping shelves stocked and assisting customers with a range of services, including potential post office, bakery or online order picking.

You’ll join a friendly team and work a mix of opening, closing and mid-day shifts, with at least two evening shifts and one weekend shift, plus full

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer service.
• Ability to work flexibly across a number of shifts and as part of a team.
• Interest in retail and working in a busy store environment (experience not essential).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly and thoughtful service on the shop floor and at tills.
• Keep shelves stocked, check prices and dates to ensure stock accuracy.
• Support daily store operations and contribute to a great shopping experience.
• Promote Co-op Membership and help customers understand benefits.
• Assist with post office, bakery or online order picking where applicable.
