Qualifications

  • Investigate data quality, lineage, controls, and authoritative source identification, documenting data sources, methodologies, and quality findings with recommendations for improvement.
  • Design and build data pipelines to automate data movement and processing.
  • Apply advanced analytical techniques to large datasets to uncover trends and correlations, develop validated logical data models, and translate insights into actionable business recommendations that drive operational and process improvements, leveraging machine learning/AI.
  • Through data-driven analysis, translate analytical findings into actionable business recommendations, identifying opportunities for operational and process improvements.
  • Design and create interactive dashboards and visual reports using applicable tools and automate reporting processes for regular and ad-hoc stakeholder needs.

Join us as a Customer Targeting Analyst where you will shape the future of Banking at Barclays, by helping the evolution of our digital landscape. Within the role you will support the the Customer Targeting team to undertake data selection using SAS based on business requirements to ensure exactly the right customers are targeted with the correct communication.

This role is based in Northampton.

To be successful as a Customer Targeting Analyst, you should have:

  • Strong SAS/SQL Experience.
  • Understanding and experience of working in complex data infrastructural environments.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure flawless delivery in a highly controlled environment to tight timescales and rigid processes.
Some Other Highly Valued Skills May Include
  • Strong Communication skills to be able to collaborate with other data functions and confidently communicate with non-technical stakeholders/delivery teams.
  • Financial Services experience.
  • Some Campaign Selection experience.
Purpose of the role
