Job summary

Core-Asset Consulting Ltd in Edinburgh is seeking a customer support professional with 2–3 years of accounting experience to assist clients on accounting-related queries. The role blends service delivery with product testing and onboarding support for customers using our financial tools.

You will handle email, phone, and chat inquiries, deliver training to trial and subscribed users, and proactively reach out to offer assistance while collaborating with product teams on new features.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to understand new IT systems and technology.
• Experience with payroll RTI, VAT and Self-Assessment.
• Experience with bookkeeping software used by small business owners.

Skills/Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant practical accounting experience.

• Experience with payroll Real Time Information (RTI), VAT and Self-Assessment.
• Understanding of accounting processes, supported by practical experience, bookkeeping and accounting software packages that are available to small business owners.

• Proactively contact customers to see if they require any assistance.
