Join to apply for the Customer Success Director role at Automat-it.

We’re looking for a Director of Customer Success to lead our European team and manage a portfolio of strategic customers in EMEA, from onboarding to satisfaction, while identifying business needs in the customer’s AWS environment.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our European market presence while working with cutting-edge technology companies in a dynamic, multicultural environment. The successful candidate will be instrumental in building and scaling our professional services business across Europe's diverse markets.

Work location: hybrid from London or Madrid.

Responsibilities
  • Proven experience in implementation services for complex IT infrastructure and cloud solutions, DevOps implementation, and automation services.
  • Understanding of professional services pricing models and revenue structures.
  • Ability to articulate the value proposition of professional services to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience in building long-term service relationships beyond transactional sales.
  • Onboard new customers, guide them through onboarding, and provide training and resources for effective start.
  • Act as the primary contact for assigned customer accounts, understanding their business needs and proactively engaging with them.
  • Identify cost optimization and upselling opportunities, including dedicated DevOps or FinOps services.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it internally for continuous improvement.
  • Encourage satisfied customers to become advocates through case studies, testimonials, or referrals.
  • Attend business events and conferences to promote Automat-it's benefits.

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years in Customer Success, Customer Engineering, or Account Management roles in B2B SaaS.
  • 3+ years selling complex public cloud solutions (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • 2+ years leading distributed Customer Success or Account Management teams in Europe.
  • Proven track record of revenue generation and business closing.
  • Experience with startups/ISV companies.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cloud-related Professional Services sales/support.
  • Ability to engage and influence C-level executives.
  • Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
  • Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
  • Experience collaborating with marketing, operations, and technical teams.
  • AWS certification and cloud services sales experience are advantages.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and/or HubSpot is a plus.
  • Knowledge or experience in FinOps is an advantage.
