Job description

This role will put you at the forefront of our Business Centre. It is a fast-moving, challenging role that offers great exposure to our vibrant customer base, allowing you to influence the service we provide. You will manage a team of over 40 colleagues and play a key role within the store's management team, including acting as Duty Manager at times.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful team and kick-start a career in Food Wholesaling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure team compliance with legal standards and company procedures.
  • Train your team in cash handling to minimize losses.
  • Control debt and recover overdue or failed payments from customers.
  • Maintain accurate and timely payroll records.
  • Engage with customers to resolve issues and improve satisfaction based on feedback.
  • Coordinate with department Supervisors to monitor delivery orders.
  • Manage a customer-focused team in reception and checkout areas.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and enjoy managing a team.
  • Excellent communication skills with some supervisory or managerial experience.
  • Practical experience in retail trade.
