Job summary

Europcar Mobility Group is seeking a Customer Service Returns Assistant for our Edinburgh Airport location. You will be part of the vehicle returns team, delivering world-class service at every stage of the rental process and assisting customers in car parks at the start and end of their journey.

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, a passion for service, and the ability to stay composed in a busy environment. Driving licence is essential and shifts may include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Full, valid, clean driving licence is required.
• Excellent communication and face-to-face interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work day/evening/weekend shifts at Edinburgh Airport location.
• Car rental/sales experience is desirable but not mandatory (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with staff to ensure customers receive and return vehicles promptly.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and vehicle damage checks, meeting KPIs.
• Complete all administration accurately per operating procedures.
• Process workshop vehicles according to procedures.

Europcar is looking for Customer Service Returns Assistant

Would you like to be part of the Europcar team? Are you someone who enjoys customer facing roles and working as part of a diverse team? We are looking for a Customer Service Assistant at our Edinburgh Airport location to work as part of our vehicle returns team.

You will be working in a fast paced environment where the customer is at the centre of everything we do. You will be responsible for providing a world class customer facing service at every stage of the rental process. This will include working in our car parks to assist our customers at the beginning and end of their Europcar experience.

Your previous experience should demonstrate your passion for service and a level headed approach to dealing with the daily challenges of a busy customer environment.

Main duties:

• Work closely with all staff to ensure customers receive and return their vehicles in a timely manner.
• Ensure the continued excellence in customer service and damage standards; and achievement of all KPIs in these areas.
• Ensure all administration is completed accurately according to operating procedures.
• Process all workshop vehicles according to operating procedures.

Key skills required:

• A full, valid clean driving licence, with a minimum of 4 years driving experience is required
• Excellent communication and face to face interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
