Our Customer Service colleagues are the main point of contact for AXA customers and we’re expanding our remarkable team!

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll answer phone calls from customers, covering a variety of queries, e.g., updating vehicle details, renewing their policy, helping with a direct debit query, etc.
Making use of your judgement following company policy to determine/offer best solution to a problem.
Put the interests of our customer at the heart of every decision you make.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and office in a way that works best for them, their team, and our customers. You’ll work a minimum of two days a week from our state of the art Derry/Londonderry office, moving to majority of the week from September 2025. We have an on-site restaurant and the lunch is great!

Our phone lines are open 8am-8pm Monday to Friday, and 9am-5pm Saturdays and Bank Holidays. You’ll work a total of 37.5 hours per week on a rotational basis.

We champion wellbeing and a work life balance, you’ll know well in advance the shift patterns you will be working each week, so you can plan around your hours.

What we’re looking for:

No previous experience is required!

Strong team player with a friendly and approachable manner
Genuine desire to help others and possess a strong willingness to learn
Excellent organisation and time management skills, you'll be comfortable managing multiple priorities
Great IT Skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Essential – 5 GCSE’s Grade A-C ( must include Maths and English)

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.

This role is an allocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime, which means the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced level of background screening requirements.
