Customer Service Agent (Temporary / Immediate Start)

The Role

Own a set of customer accounts end-to-end : booking jobs, tracking, resolving issues fast, and protecting OTIF and margin.

What you’ll do

Booking & Pre-advice : Create jobs

Track & Trace : Live-monitor, chase missing info, misroutes, damages; push proactive ETAs.

Customer Comms : Manage phone / email queues, arrange reschedules and timed deliveries.

Exception Handling : Triage failed deliveries, refusals, shortages / damages, oversize freight; agree next actions and log claims with evidence.

Internal Liaison : Coordinate with Traffic / Planning, Warehouse, Drivers and the destination depot to keep freight flowing.

Billing / Admin : Validate surcharges (oversize, out-of-area, tail-lift), raise credits where justified, and keep CRM notes clean.

Continuous Improvement : Spot repeat offenders (packaging / access), suggest process fixes, update customer SOPs.
