Job summary

Banner Ltd. is seeking a Customer Service Representative for their Trowbridge office, responsible for receiving and responding to customer inquiries. What’s the job

  • Receiving and responding to customer enquiries via telephone and e-mail, providing an exceptional level of customer care.
  • Processing customer orders in a timely and accurate manner to achieve our internal and external KPIs.
  • Liaise with Area Sales Managers and internal departments to support customer needs and requirements.
  • Occasional requirement to liaise with suppliers, progressing customer orders in line with capacity requirement.
  • Tracking orders to ensure they arrive with the customer on the expected due dates.
  • Providing administrative support where required, including mailbox management, and other general duties as required by the business.
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information to customers.

What experience are we looking for - desirable but not essential

  • Be highly IT literate, specifically proficient using Microsoft packages.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail with accuracy.
  • Have a positive and solutions focused communication style.
  • Be comfortable and skilled in dealing with customers, suppliers, and colleagues at all levels.
  • Be a fast learner, unfazed by learning new processes and systems.

What are my hours and working days

We are offering two options:

  1. A permanent, 40 hours a week on average,contract. Monday to Friday with no weekend work, 8.30am to 5pm.
  2. A 9 month maternity cover ending March 2026, 40 hours a week on average, contract, Monday to Friday with no weekend work, 8.30am to 5pm.

What’s our location

You would work out of our Head Office located in Trowbridge with plenty of free parking.

Salary & holidays

For the temporary role, the salary will be pro-rata.

Holidays are 33 days including bank holidays.

Unusually for a retail business, we close at Christmas!
