Job summary

Argyll and Bute Council is seeking a temporary full-time Customer Service Centre Telephony Team Agent based in Campbeltown to process customer enquiries and requests, provide advice on council services and maintain high standards of customer care using CRM, emails and telephone systems. This maternity cover role is 35 hours per week, with interviews in December and a contract end date of 31 March 2028.

The salary ranges from £28,359 to £29,746 per year, plus benefits and flexible working where

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, IT and teamwork skills are essential.
• Sound general education with basic numeracy.
• Experience using CRM or customer service systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Process enquiries and requests for all council services from customers.
• Provide accurate information and guidance on services.
• Help maintain high standards of customer care and responsiveness.
