Job summary

Tenpin is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our Worcester centre and help create an engaging, fun atmosphere for guests. You’ll manage reception bookings, answer questions, and spot opportunities to promote sales while delivering great service.

Responsibilities include hosting events, overseeing experiences across Laser Arena, Escape Rooms, and Karaoke rooms, and ensuring food and drinks are served promptly in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work from age 16 with full-time compulsory education completed.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Fully flexible including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer experience by managing reception bookings.
• Answer enquiries and identify sales opportunities.
• Host events and manage laser arena, escape rooms and karaoke rooms.
• Serve food and drinks and keep the centre clean and welcoming.

As we’re a licensed premises, colleagues under 18 will work within the duties and hours permitted for their age, with some duties, such as serving alcohol, reserved for colleagues aged 18 and over.

The Role As a Customer Service Assistant, you'll provide an excellent customer experience by managing reception bookings, answering enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, hosting events, serving food and drinks, and keeping the centre clean, welcoming and running smoothly.

You’ll work across various departments, from running the Laser Arena and hosting Escape Room experiences to managing karaoke rooms, and hosting children’s parties.

Every day will bring something new, keeping the fun flowing!

You should be efficient, proactive, friendly, and confident in customer interactions, with exceptional service as your priority.
