Job summary

Compass Group UK in Nottingham is seeking a Customer Services Assistant to support Chartwells in a fast-paced environment. You will assist with food preparation, display creation, and cash handling while upholding hygiene and safety standards. This full-time role is contracted to 39.8 weeks per year and offers progression within a leading hospitality group.

Qualifications

• Experience in a catering-related role is preferred but not essential.
• Enthusiastic can-do attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.

• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of food handling and hygiene standards is desirable.

As a Customer Services Assistant, you will contribute to a passionate and friendly team working in a fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
• Creating attractive food and counter displays
• Representing Chartwells and maintaining a positive brand image
• Handling cash and operating the cash register
