Vine Court Halls of Residence is seeking a part-time receptionist to handle a wide range of enquiries from students, staff, contractors and visitors. You will work as the first line of contact at the reception, manage mail and parcels, and support the Reception Supervisor to ensure smooth customer service delivery.
Responsibilities include answering questions, reporting repairs, performing health and safety checks, and using Microsoft Office and Outlook to stay organized.
Hours of work: Part-time – 25 hours per week
Monday 3 pm – 8 pm, Tuesday 3 pm - 8 pm, Wednesday 4 pm - 8 pm,Thursday 4 pm – 8 pm, Sunday 9 am - 4.30 pm
The above position is available for Vine Court Halls of Residence.
Acting as the first line of enquiry for students, staff, contractors, deliveries and visitors. Duties include working on reception handling a wide variety of enquiries, distribution of mail and parcels, carrying out health and safety checks, reporting repairs and generally responding to operational issues as required and working to assist the Reception Supervisor in ensuring that there is an efficient and effective delivery of the customer service.
You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language with excellent communication skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Relevant experience in a customer service/hospitality environment is essential.
