Job summary

Aramark is hiring a General Utility Worker II to support back of house and front of house F&B operations. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, clean environment, assisting with food preparation and service, and upholding HACCP and hygiene standards.

You will work as part of a diverse team across shifts and contribute to the smooth running of our catering operations. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a similar environment, familiarity with food hygiene, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar environment.
• Food hygiene experience, HACCP knowledge preferred.
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
• Good level of English language skills.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene.
• Reliable and punctual with good timekeeping.
• Awareness of health and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment including pot/dish wash and deep cleaning duties.
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations.
• Present an image conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply with and support health and safety policy and procedures.
• Use chemical products with proper PPE and follow manual handling regulations.
• Serve food and beverages to the standards set by Aramark.
• Ensure HACCP regulations are followed.
• Assist chefs with checking in food deliveries and maintaining high standards of produce.
• Ensure storage aligns with food hygiene and FIFO stock rotation.
• Carry out cleaning duties and prepare service areas.
• Ensure accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Understand and implement COSHH regulations.
• Undertake other duties as assigned by line manager.

Job description

The General Utility Worker II serves a variety of essential back of the house and front of house Food & Beverage (F&B) roles. F&B General Utility Worker II is required to maintain a safe sanitary work environment and required to gain an extensive knowledge of the proper use and cleaning techniques for kitchen equipment.

Job Responsibilities

• Monitor and record food an equipment temperature
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment including pot/dish wash and deep clean duties
• Attend in-house training sessions.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations always.
• To present an image always conducive to good customer relations.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's health and safety policy.
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company's policies and procedures.
• To use chemical products as shown, wearing the accurate personal protective equipment (P.P.E) and to observe manual handling regulations when lifting pulling or carrying heavy objects.
• Service of food and/or beverages to customers to the standards set by Campbell Catering.
• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations
• To assist chefs with the checking in of food deliveries ensuring that only the highest standards of produce is accepted into the units.
• To ensure that all food storage align with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed.
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Preparation of service area and/or service points.
• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.
• Understand and implement C.O.S.H.H Regulations

Other duties assigned by your line manager in order to ensure the smooth running of the department.
