Tenpin in Colchester is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to help run our busy leisure centre. You’ll welcome visitors, manage reception bookings, answer enquiries, host events, and ensure the venue runs smoothly and safely for everyone.

You should be efficient, proactive and friendly, with confident customer interactions and a flexible attitude to shifts, including evenings and weekends. No bowling experience is necessary—full training is provided and joining the team means being part of a

• Manage reception bookings and answer customer enquiries
• Identify sales opportunities and host events
• Serve food and drinks and keep the centre clean and welcoming
• Coordinate activities across departments (Laser Arena, Escape Rooms, Karaoke, parties) to ensure smooth operation

The Role

As a Customer Service Assistant,you'll provide an excellent customer experience by managing reception bookings,answering enquiries, identifying sales opportunities, hosting events, servingfood and drinks, and keeping the centre clean, welcoming and running smoothly.

You’ll work across variousdepartments, from running the Laser Arena and hosting Escape Room experiencesto managing karaoke rooms, and hosting children’s parties. Every day will bringsomething new, keeping the fun flowing!

You should be efficient,proactive, friendly, and confident in customer interactions, with exceptionalservice as your priority.

• Determined, enthusiastic, andable to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service,communication skills, and a "nothing is too much trouble" attitude
• Fully flexible, includingevenings and weekends
• Approachable, helpful, organisedand a strong team player, with good attention to detail
