Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Customer Service Advisor in Portsmouth to greet customers, book jobs in our in-house system and address technical questions. The role supports the Autocentres business and requires a proactive, customer-focused approach.

You will work five days a week, with a 22-hour per week pattern and potential for progression within the company. A full driving licence is required for vehicle collection/delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.
• IT literate and comfortable using in-house systems.
• Able to handle difficult situations professionally and calmly.
• Experience working towards and achieving targets.
• Ideally experience in an Autocentre environment.
• Must have a full driving licence with fewer than 9 points; role includes collection and delivery of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• As a Customer Service Advisor, you’ll be the welcoming face for our customers, handling job bookings in our in-house system and discussing any technical concerns they may have.
• You will contribute to a positive customer experience and help the centre meet its targets.
• The role involves coordinating bookings, communicating with the workshop team, and supporting shop floor operations.
