Job description

Carmicheal are seeking a Customer Service Administrator to join the team based in Birmingham.

The role is for 6 months, working hours from 8am to 4.30pm.

This role involves providing a responsive front-line service via written communication with members of the public, Birmingham City Councillors, and Members of Parliament. The successful candidate will respond to all enquiries within five business days to confirm the outcome.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with all relevant service areas to investigate enquiries and providing a full written response within five business days.
  • Managing own caseload of holding responses if a full response is not possible within five days.
  • Investigating and responding to official complaints in line with procedures.
  • Delivering high-quality service to all customers, ensuring the correct outcome is provided the first time.
  • Working to KPIs in line with organisational objectives.
