Job summary

Travis Perkins in Crowborough is seeking a Sales Assistant to help customers in-branch, answer queries and process orders during Monday to Friday and alternating Saturday mornings.

You’ll work in a busy yard/warehouse, focusing on safe, friendly service, promoting extra products and supporting colleagues across the branch. Training is provided to learn building materials, with pension and staff discounts.

• Confident in handling heavy stock in Yard and Warehouse.
• Delivers best-in-class sales experiences through positive interactions.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Full training provided on building materials and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build strong customer relationships in person and by phone, delivering high service standards.
• Maintain safety and high standards in the working environment.
• Promote additional products and services by understanding customer needs.
• Process orders, load/unload vehicles, and book deliveries into our systems.
