Job summary

Travis Perkins is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our branch team. You’ll build strong customer relationships in person and by phone, deliver first-class service, and help customers choose the right materials and tools.

You’ll spend time in our Yard and Warehouse, processing orders, loading/unloading stock, and booking deliveries, while working safely to keep the branch running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Confidence in physical ability to handle heavy bulky stock in Yard/ Warehouse
• Best-in-class sales experience through positive interactions
• Ability to multi-task, stay organized in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn about building materials and tools on the job
• Team player who can support colleagues across the branch

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships in person and by phone
• Process orders, load/unload vehicles, and book deliveries accurately
• Promote additional products and services to customers
• Work safely in Yard/Warehouse following health and safety guidelines
• Collaborate with branch colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
