Travis Perkins is seeking a Sales Assistant to join our nationwide network of branches. This role involves delivering high standards of service to customers in person and by phone, while supporting yard operations and order processing from loading to deliveries.

You’ll be part of a team that values safety, customer care, and a proactive approach to offering products across our wide range. Training will be provided on the job to learn building materials and tooling.

Qualifications

• Confident in handling heavy stock and physical tasks in Yard/Warehouse.
• Delivers best-in-class sales experience through positive interactions.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and stay organised.
• Willing to learn about building materials and tooling on the job.
• Team player who supports colleagues across the branch.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong customer relationships in person and by phone with a smile.
• Maintain safety standards across the working environment to keep everyone safe.
• Promote and upsell products from the wide range available with partners.
• Spend time outside in the Yard processing orders, loading/unloading vehicles, and booking deliveries.
