Travis Perkins is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our Norwich branch. You will work Monday to Friday with alternate Saturday mornings, helping customers in person and by phone, and supporting yard operations and deliveries.

You will learn about building materials on the job while delivering a high standard of service in a safety-first environment. This role suits a team player who can stay organized in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle heavy and bulky stock safely within health and safety guidelines.
• Provide a best-in-class sales experience through positive interactions with customers.
• Be self-motivated, able to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• On-the-job learning about building materials and tools will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high service standards by building strong customer relationships in person and by phone.
• Maintain high safety standards in the working environment.
• Promote additional products by understanding and meeting customer needs.
• Spend time outside in the Yard processing orders, loading and unloading vehicles, and booking deliveries into our systems.
