Job summary

Thames Water is seeking a Customer Planner in Slough to plan work for field engineers, ensure they have the right information and equipment, and support customers through wastewater issues. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with hybrid working in Slough.

You will liaise with engineers, scheduling teams, and partners to maintain service levels and resolve issues promptly, using Salesforce and SAP alongside Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced customer service environment with planning experience.
• Customer-focused approach with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Confidence handling difficult conversations calmly and professionally.
• Good computer skills, including Excel.

• Plan and allocate work for field teams to keep the day running smoothly.
• Speak with customers to understand their issue, offer reassurance and provide clear updates.
• Review information to diagnose problems and arrange the right work.
