Job summary

Booker is looking for a proactive store colleague to help ensure customers get what they came for, across shelving, tills, and stock handling. You’ll be part of a team that values a can-do attitude and the drive to go the extra mile for customers.

In this role you’ll handle picking and delivery preparation, maintain product quality, and assist customers with queries while keeping a friendly, professional approach at all times.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the accurate picking and dispatch of goods by picking against a handheld terminal and advising Manager of any differences.
• Checking quality, shelf life and ensuring packaging is robust in preparation for Delivery.
• Responsible for providing a high standard of customer service by processing deliveries efficiently and to target.
• Being polite when dealing with delivery staff and responding appropriately to queries and complaints referring any complex situations to someone who can help.
