Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Worthing is hiring a part-time Supermarket Assistant to help deliver our partner-led service and passion for food on every visit. You will stock shelves, fulfil online orders and support the wider shop team.

The role requires flexible working across seven days, including early starts, evenings and weekends, with a Night Premium of £3.75 per hour for hours between 22:00 and 06:00. Pay starts at £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and correctly placed.
• Fulfil online customer orders for driver delivery.
• Reduce wastage through due diligence and markdowns on sell-by dates.
• Support the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
