Job summary

Waitrose & Partners in Harrogate is hiring a Supermarket Assistant to deliver the customer service and food passion our stores are famous for. You will help stock, fulfil online orders, and keep shelves neat while working as part of a friendly shop team.

This temporary, part-time role offers varied hours across the week, with a night premium of £3.75 per hour for night hours (22:00–06:00). Starting pay £13.00 per hour, rising to £13.25 after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Good communication to work with customers and fellow Partners
• Experience in customer-facing roles is welcome
• Interest in food and drink trends is beneficial
• Flexible to support the whole branch when required

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and well placed
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery
• Reducing wastage through due diligence and managing sell-by dates
• Collaborating with the shop team including checkout support and Click & Collect
• Maintaining a safe, tidy and well organised working environment
