Job summary

John Lewis Partnership is hiring a Supermarket Assistant in Exeter for a part-time role up to 22.5 hours per week. You will help deliver partner-led service, stock shelves, prepare online orders, and support the team with various shopfloor tasks, while maintaining safety and tidiness.

• Experience of working in a customer facing role is welcomed.
• Up to date knowledge and strong interest in food and drink trends.
• Flexible approach to ensure the support of the whole branch.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment - ensuring shelves are full and products are in the right place.
• Fulfilling online orders ready for delivery to customers.
• Reducing wastage by following product due diligence and sell-by dates.
• Supporting the wider shop team including checkout, Click & Collect and on-demand orders.
• Maintain a safe and tidy working environment.
