Job summary

John Lewis Partnership’s Waitrose Stirling store is seeking a Supermarket Assistant to deliver Partner-led service and passion for food to customers. The role includes a £3.75 per hour night premium for hours 22:00–06:00 and flexible, varied hours across seven days.

You will stock shelves, prepare online orders, and support the store team in checkout and Click & Collect, while maintaining a safe, clean environment. Permanent, part-time position based in Stirling.

• Excellent communication and teamwork within a customer-focused environment.
• Experience in a customer-facing role is welcomed.
• Up-to-date knowledge and strong interest in food trends.

Responsibilities

• Stock replenishment to keep shelves full and in the right place.
• Fulfilling online customer orders for driver delivery to homes.
• Reducing wastage by following product dating and markdowns.
• Supporting the wider shop team with checkout, Click & Collect, and on-demand orders.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.
