Job summary

Databricks Forward Deployed Engineers embed with the most strategic customers to design and deliver custom end-to-end data and AI solutions on the Databricks platform. You will own architecture decisions, lead design, and implement systems spanning data engineering, AI, and application development.

This highly customer-facing role requires engineering depth across backend, frontend, and integrations, with a strong emphasis on delivering measurable business impact and collaborating across sales,

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background spanning backend, frontend, and systems integration.
• Experience designing, building and deploying production applications combining data pipelines, ML/AI models, and user interfaces.
• Familiarity with AI APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini) and AI code-generation tools.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture and design decisions for customer projects, ensuring security and scalability.
• Design, develop, and deliver fullstack applications leveraging Databricks platform.
• Deliver production-grade systems from data ingestion to ML/AI model integration and user-facing apps.
