Job Description:

My client, a leading IT Solutions provider, is seeking to recruit a Desktop Support Engineer to join an ever-growing Customer Support Function. This client has more than 10,000 employees worldwide and supports numerous large Enterprise Customers. The responsibilities include:

• Owning, investigating, and resolving customer technical issues, collaborating within and across teams, and utilizing troubleshooting tools and practices.
• Participating in communities with peer delivery roles and sharing knowledge where appropriate.
• Developing technical and professional skills to resolve customer issues through training and readiness.
• Identifying potential product defects and escalating appropriately to contribute to Microsoft product improvements.
• Communicating fluently in English with strong interpersonal skills.
• Having 3+ years of experience in technical support or related fields.
• Exhibiting excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Possessing strong knowledge of Office 365 technology, Office Setup & Deployment, and core Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Publisher, InfoPath, Access).
• Understanding Office integration with platforms like Windows, third-party network shares/OS, mobiles, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
• Preferred additional skills include networking, communication protocols (FTP, HTTP), object-oriented programming, technical literacy, and the ability to work independently and in teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs):

• Relevant Microsoft Technology Certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Background in technical consulting or IT experience is preferred.
